Fabulous Friday

Even though I don’t have a 9-5 job any more, I still get a little subconscious thrill when I hear the word, FRIDAY!
Yay, Friday!
Fridays conjure a feeling of hope. An emotional response from way down deep that a break from the humdrum is coming.
End of the day on Friday means fun and time to do whatever it is that makes me happy.
Recreation. Relaxation. Rejuvenation.
Friday’s are worth the wait.
My favorite Friday’s were always spent with either a good book, a good movie, or both.
I was taken away from my routine world and transported to another storyline to take a look around.
What do you look forward to when Friday rolls around?

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m in love my Keurig coffee machine

This might be me before my first sip

This might be me before my first sip

There are some mornings (okay every morning) when Keurig is the only word I can say that makes any sense. I stumble zombie style to my kitchen barely conscious with one single mission focus. Coffee! Now! That first sip of cinnamon flavored, caffeinated goodness is simply the best way to start the day in my humble opinion. I like other flavors, too. But cinnamon is my favorite.
What are your favorite flavors of coffee or are you the purist type that likes it straight up coffee bean only? ’cause that’s okay too. 🙂

Today is another day, why did it have to be Monday?

Mondays, in general, get a lot of crap from everyone. I used to like Mondays. It was the beginning. I had a whole new week to accomplish whatever it was that I was trying to accomplish.
Lately I feel like Mondays are laughing at me. “What? You’re going to try to accomplish what?” Then comes the maniacal Monday laughter. Trust me when I say, you don’t want to hear that kind of laughter from the first day of the week.
My best defense? A good cup of coffee. Or, let’s be honest, 5 good cups of coffee. 🙂 But after the first one, it’s decaf only or hubby has to peel me off the ceiling when he gets home.
Time to make a list. I do this a lot. Then I can cross my accomplishments off as I go along. Very satisfying.
Any list makers out there? Or am I utterly alone? 🙂
